Yes! I'm reading it again for the third time. Every time I read it I relapse lol. It's a good book but very triggering and eerie. Stay strong! Al my support, <3 A Fragile Heart
For some reason it didn't seem to have much effect on me... but I've heard that it's very triggering for a lot of people. I can definitely see why though!
I love Wintergirls. So many insights, so many interesting observations. It's definitely dark and uses anorexic/bulimic stereotypes to death but I can't help but envy Lia. Not for her disorder, really, but for the friendship she has with Cassie, and how even when she's losing her mind she isn't really doing it alone. The fact that the person with her is trying to kill her is somewhat beside the point... I just wish that I had a friend around all the time, you know?
That's a really good point. I would love to have someone there all the time, unconditionally, too. Although too bad for Lia, Cassie is basically the reason for her mental downfall!
